Simple, stylish, and easy
Katy and Jake kept things simple. Getting ready was unhurried. A lace dress that suited her perfectly, a quiet room, and a few minutes to breathe before seeing each other.
Portraits on the lane
We used the tree-lined lane for portraits—nothing posed, just a short walk, a hand-kiss from Jake, and a lot of laughing. That lane is a Compass Rose classic for a reason.
Wedding party energy
Vows in the woods
The ceremony is tucked into the forest on the property and always feels intimate. Vows under a simple chuppah, a few happy tears, and then cheers as they came back up the aisle.
Cocktails, golden hour, and a full dance floor
Afterwards, guests settled on the lawn for cocktails. We stepped out for a few minutes at golden hour—the fields did their thing and the light was perfect. Dinner with Hawley Crescent Catering & Events was excellent (as usual here), speeches ran long in the best way, and the dance floor filled quickly.
